Well so far the response to the new blog seems to be very positive. Thank you all for your very complimentary comments – I hope commenting is a bit easier over here. I know it will be easier for me when I do giveaways because the comments are numbered – no more staring at the screen cursing the random number generator for not picking someone in the top ten.
The Swiss Dots cuttlebug folders finally came in to Graphicus last week, so I snaffled one at the weekend, together with the scrolly birdy one as well. This is a little card made for this month’s Graphicus Guild newsletter, made with a new themeplate. It is on the website already, under the name Bridal Bouquets. I think we are changing the name to Pretty Posies because although there’s a definite hint of the wedding bouquet to them, they aren’t just for weddings
Having said that, I definitely wanted a bridal feel to this card so I put a little cluster of cream organza ribbon under the posy and kept it very clean and elegant. To be honest, I wish I had layered up the image, but I have an infection on the side of my right hand which makes cutting out a touch painful at the moment. (Funny how washing up and hoovering are also too painful to do, but I can manage a stamp and Glimmer Mist bottle just fine.)
These are the posy stamps. I am still figuring out how to lay out the images how I want them over here, so forgive me if they’re jumping around all over the place.

so this is what you do when you take time off!
I busy trying to make samples for a Charity event we have this weekend and getting mey head round Christmas projects.
Glad you are keeping in touch with us all and look forward to seeing what the move means in the long term
What a pretty card and the stamps are beautiful as well. Thanks for offering the pink download in other sizes – great service as always!!
Hope your hand soon improves but I wouldn’t rush into washing up and so on – just save it for the glimmers and stamps!!
Val
Lovely new stamps (as always). Love the new look blog as well. It seems brighter and lighter some how.
Hope you are having a nice break, and the hand heals up quickly.
Washing up whats that? get a dishwasher it leaves more time for crafting!

Of course your forgiven for re-arranging you new home, it takes trial and error to get things just the way we want them. Hope your hand gets better soon, but hey, don’t tell Adrian when it does, after all hoovering is good exercise for him – and we all want our loved ones to stay fit and healthy [insert evil grin here]
Love the stamps, and Pretty Posies is a better name – I can imagine lots of other things they would be useful for such as cards for Mother’s Day etc. Bridal Bouquets makes it sound like it’s only for weddings.
Lovely card definately has a bridal march flavour!
Hope your hand gets well soon.
love the new blog site (if thats the right expression!) seems more spacious. New stamps also look very good – agree that pretty posies sounds better than bridal bouquets! Yes keep your hand out of dishwater for at least, oh, 6 months or so? Just to ensure a complete cure of course. Stamping is a well known exercise for sore hands anyway. As we know.
Looks like you’re settling in your new home well!! It’s nice of you to keep in touch but you are supposed to be having a rest.
Definitely needs to be called Pretty Posies – love the card!
A dishwasher is a must – and of course it needs a male to load it – us females aren’t methodical enough to get everything in it in one load!! Plus it’s supposed to be more hygenic as it washes at a far higher temperature than we could handwash so it kills more germs. So it’s a ‘must have’!!!
Make sure you give your hand ‘gentle’ exercise – you need to keep it supple with a little light stamping and misting – hope it’s not too painful for you. Enjoy the rest of your week off
Hi Glenda
Love the new blog, I’ll send you an email to explain about how to sort out the pictures on here. It made my brain itch too, but it is easier than on eblogger. I left them after two entries it was a nigntmare
