I’ve had four lovely relaxing days at home and crafting wise, this is all I have to show for it.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my lazy week, just chilling out with the cats and making a mess. No doubt all of this will at some point get converted into something pretty. This is how I work. I play and make things that don’t look very exciting and often look a downright mess. Then another day I reach for one of the messy things, stamp on it and hey presto, it’s converted into something cool and everyone says ‘oooh, how did you do that?’
Actually the above is not all I have to show for my time off. I have been splodging and painting backgrounds for the next CD and working on some utterly drop dead gorgeous collage stamps. I’m working on the autumn collection and boy is there some good stuff in there. Yes, I know I mentioned the work word, but it’s not really working, it’s playing too.
Ooh, I’ve just been paged – apparently my opposable thumbs are required to operate a cat food ring pull! The boys are getting rather used to having me around, but we do fight over the chair in my craft room.
Hey it’s actually MY chair you know …

Ooh, sounds like a great stress reliever
Glad you’ve enjoyed it
Great to hear you have had some time for inky fun Glenda….love the sound of the collage stamps. Thanks for sorting out my Adob Reader conflict with PSP CD
My you have been having fun – it is great to have a supply of coloured ‘bits’ to use when you feel like getting creative but have no time for the really messy bit as well. Sounds as if you have spent your holiday in the best way – ‘playing’.

Sounds just like my idea of heaven, inky fingers and making something out of nothing. Wish I could take some time out for that…
This is my idea of heaven on earth, playing with inks and making beautiful unique backgrounds to use on future projects! xx
Have all your cds when is the next one out just brought psp brilliant
Ohh collage stamps, sound very exciting. You have just described my perfect crafting day, piles of pretty papers and inky fingers. Inspiration for what to do with it all comes later to me too. Mind you I tend to turn most things in to book covers lately.

Looks like you had the best kind of fun, getting all inky and making a glorious mess! Mind you did you really need to tease us already with promises of the Autumn collection? I am still trying to figure out how to make my budget strech to include the new Christmas stamps. Hmmmmmm maybe if I persuade hubby to take on a paper round
