Sunday November 16th – New date for TV show on Ideal World
No guarantees, but this is the Sunday of the Hobbycrafts show at the NEC, so it’s available and I’ve accepted it. Lynn and I will (hopefully) be on your screens at 2pm.
No guarantees, but let’s all hope it stays firmly in the calendar this time, eh?
The dialogue is continuing between myself and Ideal World – I think my comments, backed up by all of yours, have actually brought home some important points to at least one Manager at Ideal World. Thank you all for your comments on the recent entries, I believe it might do some good!
On another note entirely, I was given a blog award recently by two lovely blog readers, Phree and Craftimamma. I am extremely grateful and flattered by the award, but I confess to being a little embarrassed by blog awards. I have set up a new Awards page as a virtual display cabinet for them, and to explain why they get me a little flustered under the collar.
I am still very grateful though!

That would be a lovely pressie for me as thats the weekend before my birthday (19th)yippee!! Will look forward to it. Maybe I can accidentally on purpose put it on when other half is watching and say oooh that would be lovely for my birthday and tell him it would save him having to think of something!!! lol Given the option hubby will take the easy way and order via internet. Job done!! lol.
Hi Glenda
we will be at the NEC so will have to record the show. I trust everything will work for the best in the long term. Things usually do.
Lynnda
I notice Brenda asked about the Winter Glimmer with Glenda and I thought I recalled you saying that ALL the shows had been cancelled as you have now confirmed.
In that case someone should tell C&C because I checked today and as of about 2.00 pm they still had it on their programme schedule on Sky. Does their left hand know what the right is doing or is it a ‘crafty’ ruse to get all us Glenda fans watching while they slip some rubbish on instead of you?
That’s good news as we’re going to the NEC on the Saturday so we’ll be home for the Sunday viewing. Will you be at the NEC on the Saturday? Hope so, look forward to meeting you if you are. Fingers and everything else crossed that they don’t change their minds again for the programme!!!
You deserve every award for all the wonderful inspiration, tips, techniques and enjoyment you give us! It is so generous of you to let us have the benefit of your talents! So don’t be embarrassed – it’s well deserved recognition!!
Caz
Great news Glenda, will mark it on the calendar, and will also have everything crossed here that this date doesn’t change. You deserve all the awards given to you Glenda, you and your team offer us such a lot of inspiration, fab products and service. I too echo all that has been said about your generosity of spirit, you are such a lovely lady, and a very talented one.
Sue
Brenda – no the winter glimmer show had to be moved, see the post Best Laid Plans

Glenda

Also as you are getting all these nice things satd to you I would like to say THANKS SO MUCH for all the inspiration and products all you and your team churn out.Any nearer to finding your break away destination?
Fingers and toes all crossed
Ooh, I’m so glad I went to Ally Pally instead of the NEC. I’ll look forward to watching you when we get back from Cheltenham racces on the Sunday
. Maybe the date change will work out as a good thing in the long term, with more people to watch at the weekend? Good to have a new date, whatever!
I’ve just read what you say about Blog Awards and I understand exactly what you are saying, may be all we need do sometimes is tell people. So Glenda Waterworth your work blows me away, your generosity of spirit cheers me and you are truly inspirational to me. Thank you for sharing all that you do.
Moira
Oh no, I shall miss it as I will be at the NEC, along with the thousands of others who go, and presumably if you’re at Peterborough then that means you guys won’t be at the NEC! Drat!
well, that solves the problem of whether to book the coach ticket! I shall not have to get up early, can stay home in comfort and have some cash to spend as well- great. Glenda, you deserve all the awards -
for the inspiration alone, let alone all the tips and demos
OK I guess that means you can look forward to seeing some very badly made cards on my blog for the next month and a half cuz I am keeping everying crossed that this new date goes ahead. I guess crafting with crossed fingers and legs and eyes may be a bit tricky…but YIPEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
As for the award you EARN every single one you receive. You bring us great products and freely share advice, tips and tutorials on this blog for anyone to read. And yes I know in part it makes good business sense to do this, but you go beyond what most businesses do to help their customers. Oh and I probably should add you make some rather nice art work to show off on the blog too so that justifies the awards too:D
Ditto Jennifer!
I’ve made a note.. & crossed my fingers & toes that it won’t get changed….. again xx
