Ok, I am so super excited to see what you all make with your Essence of Nature CD that I’m running a little challenge for you.
Get your printer running, create something using the CD and post a photograph of it to your blog or online photo album. Leave a comment here with a link to it and I’ll go take a look. Remember to link to the post with the picture in. If you don’t know how to set up the link, just paste in the address of the post (that’s the bit at the top that starts with http://) and I’ll convert it to a link.
We’ll run this through to the end of next week – Saturday August 7th – and I’ll pick a winner who will get the cost of their CD refunded as a Graphicus voucher!
How does that grab you? And if you haven’t got the CD yet, we are so super efficient now that orders placed on the Graphicus website before 1.00pm are being despatched SAME DAY! It’s over £15, so if you’re in the UK that’s free postage too.
Oh – and as a bonus, if there are more than 10 of you who take part, I will upload a delicious new paper to my freebies page – I have one I made recently that’s lovely.
I can’t *wait* to see what you come up with!
PS – I will be picking the winner by random number generator so everyone has an equal chance of winning!

Great cards ladies – I love what you done with the papers on the
this fantastic cd.
Have had a brief look through the cd but there are so many
lovely designs and colours it’s difficult to choose.
Sylvia
Oh Wow!!! What absolutely wonderful entries to this competition. Glenda I’m glad you are able to use the computer generated thingy to choose the winner – otherwise totally impossible. And again wow, congratulations to all the entrants – so much gorgeous creativity – and wonderful use of Glenda’s latest stunning cd.
Am loving the new CD. So much loveliness, my printer has been red hot. Here is my first card: http://www.flickr.com/photos/rosetime/4868820984/in/pool-handmadecards
I have all the CDs and this is going to be my favourite. They just get better and better.

I’ve been so busy playing with the new CD – its eating up the hours… and the printer ink. So many gorgeous papers and extras to play with. Its totally beautiful. I’ll take photos tomorrow of some of the cards I’ve made so I can enter the comp.
Love it.

Wow! the cards on display are gorgeous , and here’s another one from me, the cd came just in time for this one it was very apt.

Glenda you and your team have come up with another winner, I just loooove the cd, it will be useful for so many different occasions, and also the awkward mens cards.
I have also used my favourite stamp of the moment. The Iris.
May I say I visited your shop for the first time last June when we were on holiday in Yorkshire. Wow, and your staff were so helpfull. I think there may be more holidays to Yorkshire now.

Hi Glenda what can I say except Wow! Wow Wow! what a fantastic double cd. It as to be your best yet. Not one paper on it that I wouldn’t use. It took me absolutely ages to pick just one paper to make my card just couldn’t make my mind up, they are all so beautiful. Thanks a million. Here is my link.

Here’s the link to my first card made with your wonderful new CD. This is going to become a firm favourite.
I look forward to seeing what everyone makes – they are all bound to be wonderful as the papers are terrific.
Cheers Rosie
I’m loving the new CD. I printed out a selection of my favourite bits and here’s the card I created with them. I hope you like it.

I’m not a big fan of cutting out so I wasn’t really looking forward to doing the sheet of flowers but they were really easy and quick to do. I can see me using them a lot.
Thanks Glenda. x
Awesome designs Glenda. Really like the extra Elements by Lesley as well. Got to have a play with the flowers soon. Loads of gorgeous backgrounds to go with my favorite stamps.
My current fav is the swirly foliage one in Forest Glade. I was having problems printing, until I read the instructions with the paper and realized that I was printing it on the wrong side, duh!
Hopefully this link will work.

these are my first efforts – it is a really fabulous cd Glenda, and I can see it getting a lot of use
think I’ve managed it this time!
These papers have a big drawback – they are too stunning to cover up with anything else LOL I really am tempted to frame them:).
Here’s my first card using them, very simple…

Anne
This CD is the best yet – such beautiful designs and colours it was difficult to know where to start and they certainly don’t need to be used as the sort of backgrounds which are covered up when used. I went for simplicity in my first card which can be seen here on my blog
Good luck everyone!
Glenda – this is an absolutely wonderful double CD set. But you just make it sooo difficult to chose what paper or element to print out!! I can see me running out of printer ink very soon………. Anyway, here is my first card made with Essence of Nature.
Hi there, the very first thing I did with one of the papers from the Essence of Nature Cd was to make a Digital Scrapbook page with it.
I was looking for some background papers to make a new scrapbook and this cd was perfect, and gorgeous.
The link to the page is here…
http://gtcscraftycards.blogspot.com/2010/08/darwin-scrapbook-page.html
I have also cut out some of the flowers from disc 2, and used some Tim Holtz Clear Rock Candy Crackle Paint on them, before building up a 3d flower. I have not finished the project yet, but the first flower is looking scrummy. Brillaint discs as always… Thanks.
hugs Janie xxx
I’ve been playing with the Essence of Nature cd today and I think it is really beautiful, Ilove the colours. I also like the flowers and tags as well.
http://butterflies-and-bees.blogspot.com/
Thanks for coming up with yet another gorgeous double CD. It’s got tonnes of stuff on it!
One problem though, how can I choose what to create first?
Everything on it is so pretty Glenda. Too many choices!
My head’s running away with ideas, I’m sure I’ll get over it. lol
I have 8 CD’s now and love them all.
Is my collection of CD’s complete or is there any out there I’ve missed? (I hope not).
I have Fantasy Floral, Filigree Fusion, Damask Delights, Butterfly Bliss, Season’s Greetings, Peacock Summer Party, Decadent Brocade, and of course the brand new Essence of Nature. I love them all. Thanks again for these.
hugs

Hi Alexandra – you have the full set there and I’m sure you can see the progression from my early attempts through to the latest one.
Glenda
Wow Glenda, what a FAB CD!! Totally gorgeous! I’ve almost worn my printer out as it was so hard to choose where to start lol. I’ve started off with a tag using the sparkly EP technique you used last week, you can see it on my blog
Thanks for the competition and hopefully the freebie too
Claire xx
I’m always amazed and surprised by your CDs. I shouldn’t be now, but I’m pleased I still am, means you’re doing something right LOL!!!
What I think I’m gonna do with something from the CD will take ages, so I’ll not be able to enter the comp. I’m planning to make enough of the layers flowers (inked on the back) to fill the bird cage skirt of our mannequin. It should really be called the Graphicus mannequin as 3 of you have it now!!!
Love
Jill

WOW Glenda, you have surpassed yourself this time.
My Cd arrived today and it is so beautiful. Beautiful artwork and stunning colourways.
It will be extremely difficult to choose a design for your challenge.
Super idea as it will be great to see what other people make with the CD’s.
Looking forward to seeing the free paper.
Christine x
this is the most stunning CD, well worth waiting for, it arrived this morning, congratulations, we are very lucky to have such talented people share their knowledge with us.
Congratulations and thankyou
Nora x
Here’s (if I’ve got the link correct!) my first card using the CD. There’s so much on it, it was hard to decide which to try first! Now, what to do next…
Lynne, I’ve tried to leave you a comment three times over the last couple of days and Blogger isn’t letting me, though I’m able to comment on other Blogger blogs ok.
Any idea why?
Glenda
Glenda I absolutely love the CD (s), everything is so beautiful – even the names of the individual collections are lovely. I just love it (them) to bits, thank you!
I might try and have a go in the challenge – that’s if I can pluck up the courage lol. I know I’m a coward but…..when I look at the beautiful work out there from you all, I feel like “hiding behind the sofa”!!!! Had a little peek at Sue B’s gorgeous cards a few moments ago – absolutely beautiful!
Oh dear – how many times have I said the word “beautiful” in this post!!
I thought I would miss out on the competion as I don’t have a blog or online photo album but now I see that I can email an image. So many gorgeous images – which one do I choose!! This is the best set of cd’s so far.
Wow Glenda this CD is just stunning I love it all I really need to go back and have a proper look. I will be joining in this challenge at the weekend when I have some time
Thank you for sharing your amazing talent with us
Hugs Jackie x
I have burnt hubby’s dinner!!! The CDs are so beautiful. I would love to put my first creation on the blog but I have no idea what any of the link stuff means. I can make cards and paint and draw and use a graphics program because someone taught me but I have nobody to teach me about blogs and links etc-it’s all Greek to me!!
Back to browsing those fabulous images
Crafty hugs

If you can use a graphics program, take a photo of your picture, get it into your graphics program and save a version of it as a jpg file. If your graphics program has any option to save a web version or a ‘low resolution’ version that’s even better.
If you can do that and want to take part, email me your photo and I will set up a link for it.
Glenda
Wow I must start having a good look at the CD which arrived this afternoon to see what I can come up for this competition. thanks.
Well Glenda you’ve certainly taken my breath away!!! CD’s just arrived and the first thing I did was load them to have a look and was absolutely astounded at the beauty of the papers – I know I can print off as many as I like but still feel I will be sitting stroking them LOL
Will be joining in with this challenge in the next couple of days when I have some time. Already been over to Sue B’s blog and had a look at her cards and they are brilliant. Thanks so much for this inspiration. Hugs xxx

Absolutely fabulous. Love them all so how am I supposed to choose something to make a card in just one week…… Lol
So far I’m drawn to dawn mist and forest glade but love the colour tones of dappled light… decissions decissions.
Thanks for such a beautiful cd Glenda. The only problem you have now as others have said is – How do you follow this!!!!!!
Jan
Here’s my first play with the Cd I love it! Not sure how to do a link but here goes http://suzib1b.blogspot.com/2010/07/essence-of-nature-cd-by-artilicious.html
I too received my CD this morning , I WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart, that you are sharing your most wonderful talent with us all, I agree that this will be my all time favorite along with the butterly one. The mixtures of colours are amazing. Bye Now , got to go back and have another look now I have my breath back and once again thank you for the beauty of this CD.
I’m with everyone else’s opinions on this one Glenda. I’ve loved all your cds especially the last one but this is just breathtakingly beautiful. I don’t think there’s a single design, colour or element that I don’t love.
Good luck eveyone with your entries everyone. I’ll so enjoy seeing what you all make with this little beauty.
Hugs
Lesley Xx
Glenda, this is a brilliant cd, by far the best of a great bunch! I really love the dawn mist and dappled light sections, and my printer will be very busy this weekend once I have restocked the inks. Will definitely be up for the challenge, and looking forward to the free paper as well.
Thank you very much also for my randomness freebie, which arrived this morning – don’t know how you could bear to part with some of those tags, which just happen to look to me as though they will nicely match those new papers………..
Wayhay, what a surprise this morning – IT has arrived and what a beautiful CD it is. The images are gorgeous, I just don’t know where to start. Will definitely be in on the challenge
Janet x
My CD has just arrived! The printer is running…..
Glenda, this is definitely your best yet! It’s just stunning, beautiful, awesome, even better than the butterflies, which I love! There’s not a single thing on it I don’t like. Can’t imagine how you’ll ever come up with a better one (but then I think that every time, and then you do!).
Lovely idea for the challenge too. It will be great to see what everyone else is making with the CD. Looking forward to seeing the free paper – you’re bound to get plenty of entries! I’m off to make something now, back with it later! xx
